Hummas
(Vegan)

- 1-15 oz. can chickpeas
- 2 cloves garlic - crushed
- 1⁄4 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 3 Tbs FRESH lemon juice
- 1⁄4 cup water or more if too thick after blending
- 1⁄4 tsp paprika
- 1⁄2 tsp cumin
- 1⁄4 tsp salt (or more to taste)
Blend till very smooth. If you have a good blender you can use raw sesame seeds(1/4 C) instead of tahini. Serve with whole wheat pita bread.
